See below for reservation information.TRAVELING ON THE PORT TOWNSEND-KEYSTONE FERRY? Be sure to make a reservation! They are not required for vehicles under 6,000 pounds, but are highly suggested because we are now down from three ferries to only one ferry and it carries no more than 50 vehicles per crossing. Also, the ferry cannot accept vehicles over 80,000 pounds. Motorcycles are no longer moved to the front of the line, so reservations are encouraged for motorcyclists, as well. You
can reserve by calling WSDOT-FERRIES at 511 or 888-808-7977 between 7am
& 9pm, or online at the link below. Note that the online form
refreshes after you complete each field and you cannot skip any field
of information. You can make a reservation from 30 days down to 2
hours before sailing. If you have a reservation you MUST arrive at the
ferry dock between 45 and 90 minutes before your scheduled sailing.
If you arrive any later you must go as a stand-by. Up to 10 stand-bys (those
without reservations) will be accepted from 45 minutes until sailing --
as space permits. If you arrive at the dock any earlier, and do not
have a reservation, you will be turned away and told to return 45
