How can I use the Sims Way Banner?
Coming into town along Sims Way, Adjacent to
the Visitor Center, you will frequently pass under a banner announcing
an upcoming local event. This banner space is available on a first
come, first served basis. In order to reserve space, please contact
Carla Abrams, the City of Port Townsend Event Coordinator, at (360) 379-3951.
In addition to the reservation, a sign permit is required ($38
for first time applicant) and an installation fee is charged ($150).
Your banner must meet specific dimensions and construction quality
standards (high winds are common). The City will be responsible
for installation and removal of your banner. Please be sure to pick up your banner at the City office immediately after the event.

The fee is based on the total number of employees in all the businesses.

be purchased for each business separately.
